Alchemy is working with a respected moving firm in Nottingham for an experienced Branch Manager to join their team. This position provides an exciting chance to oversee daily operations, coordinate staff allocation, and assure the smooth execution of moving services. What You’ll Be Doing:
* Oversee and arrange job assignment schedules to guarantee smooth operations.
* Maintain proper labour numbers and assign personnel and equipment to satisfy daily mobility needs.
* Maintain compliance with safety rules and business standards.
* Recruit, hire, and manage transporters and drivers.
* Conduct performance reviews in compliance with company policies.
* Assist with the driver qualifying procedure.
* Assist the operations manager in coordinating training and safety programs.
* Analyse and fix operational issues to increase efficiency.
* Manage administrative tasks linked to branch operations.
* Track financial performance and cost-cutting measures.
* Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure high-quality service.
* Implement continuous improvement activities to boost productivity and service quality.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven managerial experience in the transportation or logistics industries.
* Prior sales experience in the logistics or transportation industries is beneficial.
* Ability to supervise and handle all areas of a moving operation.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to shifting schedules and workloads.
* Excellent IT knowledge and strong written and verbal communication skills.
