Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care. Responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing and evaluating person-centered care plans, supporting with medication requirements, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude towards supporting both residents and staff.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupport and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
1. Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
2. Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
3. Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
4. Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
5. Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.
