We are currently accepting applications for an Experienced Social Worker for our Adult Safeguarding (MASH) Team.
You will be responsible for the screening of adult safeguarding concerns and undertaking section 42 enquiries as per Care Act duties.
You will have a demonstrable ability to build positive working relationships with service users and professionals, as well as sound working knowledge of legislative frameworks and guidance relevant to safeguarding including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
We are a supportive and nurturing team, committed to staff development and progression to support you in achieving your ambitions. In this role, you will have access to a range of learning and development opportunities provided by a dedicated Professional Standards Team, to both support your practice and to enable self-development and resilience building.
This is an opportunity to develop excellent risk management skills, working closely with vulnerable adults and their families to deliver positive outcomes that put the person's views and wishes at the heart of our work.
Working Hours: 36 hours per week, various shift patterns (7.2 hour days) to cover 8am-8pm service, 7 days a week (weekends 9-5pm on a rota basis).
