We cant do this without passionate leaders like you. A day in the life of a Registered Manager will involve: Managing recruitment, team supervisions, meetings, and inspections. Youll spend a good amount of time making sure the team you manage have the skills, experience and training they need to be the best support possible for the child in your care. Supporting children to have the best quality of life possible. Working with the team to arrange and plan activities, whether it be baking at home, fun days out, or holidays with them. Ensuring our children are kept safe and their plans suit their needs. Youll work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the children we look after have the right support and care plans in place. To be a successful Registered Manager, youll need: Patience, compassion, and resilience The children youll support may have experienced trauma, which may have an impact on their behaviour. Great communication skills Both verbal and written communication is important in this role as youll be speaking to a lot of different people at different times and need to be able to update the childrens plans. A driving licence Our children love to be out in the community. We need you to be able to drive them to where they need to go. We have the cars you just need the licence. To be flexible Our Registered Managers play a key role in keeping our homes running day to day and are required to undertake a variety of tasks including undertaking of health, safety and risk assessments, budget management, and willingness to contribute to the on-call rota. Ideally, youll hold your level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management. In return for your time, youll get: Holidays Youll get 33 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
