We are currently looking to recruit on behalf of our manufacturing client for a Stock Controller on DAY SHIFT for our client based in Doncaster (DN8).
The role is for our client who is a leading manufacturer of PE pipe, fittings, and fabrications.
Due to location, MUST DRIVE or have OWN TRANSPORT.
Shifts are Monday-Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.
Pay Rate: £24,000 - £27,000 based on experience.
The Role
1. Determine what raw material is planned to arrive/be produced by liaising with both the procurement and the grading team.
2. Predict required tonnage for packing every week and highlight potential shortfalls (at least 72 hours before) by monitoring stock levels using Tableau and historical data.
3. Utilise correct communication channels and current systems to block batches to ensure rotation and correct usage.
4. Manage daily industrial stock counts.
5. Conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate and correct stock figures. Reconcile any discrepancies as soon as they occur.
6. Efficiently manage stock rotation by assessing raw material in stock daily and monitoring the age of the stock.
7. Ensure allocation of correct space (as close as possible) for the graded product before arrival, including ventilation/redressing to avoid double handling, also maximising the space by mixing rows in line with requirements.
8. Ensure the product in the warehouse is placed, stacked, and if required, segregated correctly.
9. Understand and master customer specifications and apply the knowledge for the most effective use of the raw material.
10. Ensure accurate and clear information is shared with the managers for out-loading raw material with correct labels attached.
11. Carry out an accurate monthly stock take of all raw material onsite.
12. Undertake any other reasonable duties as may be requested by your manager to ensure the overall smooth running of the business.
The Perfect Candidate Should Have
1. Forklift licence is required.

4. Curious personality to gain a full understanding of information.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail.
7. Proven IT skills to utilise systems on site.
8. Strong organisational and planning skills.
9. Previous produce experience is an advantage but not essential.
