First Aid Officer

Monday to Friday – 27.5 hours per week
8.30am to 2.30pm (to include 30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Dorset Grade 6 Scale Point 6-9 (£13.05-£13.69 per hour)
Term time only plus 5 Staff Training Days
We are looking to recruit a First Aid Officer to join our FUS Team as soon as possible. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be for the welfare of students and staff if they are unwell or injured and take the necessary course of action. This will also include supporting the on-call team with any call-outs for students with specific needs or non-behavioural issues. They will work closely with our Pastoral Team and external agencies in planning and organising health visits and training.
This post requires initiative, flexibility, diplomacy, and discretion together with a professional approach. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bromcom is desirable. A current First Aid certificate is also desirable but training will be provided for a suitable candidate.
