MCS Group are currently working with a global manufacturing firm who are currently planning out the company growth over the next 5 years. In doing so they are looking to add an IT Service Delivery Manager to the team to aid in the growth of the IT function within the business. Responsibilities: Oversee all IT services to support business strategy and objectives across all locations, ensuring alignment with SLAs. Act as the primary liaison between the company and outsourced IT service providers, managing escalations and ensuring the swift resolution of critical incidents. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key providers across Infrastructure, Networks, ERP, and other essential IT services. Conduct regular service reviews to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of service delivery processes. Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring all products remain within supported life cycles and align with business requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with IT Program and Project Managers to ensure the smooth transition of new IT services. Conduct internal IT audits to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in service delivery management. As and when required support the end users across the business with ticket requests for hardware and software-based issues. Essential Criteria: 2 years experience within a Service Delivery, IT Manager role. Experience managing a small team (carrying out 1 2 1s, reviews and disciplinary) Experience liaising with 3rd party providers and managing contracts. Hands-on IT Support experience.
