SEN Teaching Assistant | ASAP\n\nSouthwark\n\nFull - time, 5 days per week\n\nSalary: Negotiable, depending on experience\n\nAre you an experienced, compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new role? If so, we want to hear from you!\n\nTeach Plus are currently working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' primary school located in Southwark, who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.\n\nThis school is a one-form entry, welcoming, progressive and diverse primary school that offers a bespoke, engaging curriculum. They are well supported from the wider community and families creating an environment where children are excited to come to school.\n\nAs a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be expected to:\n\nFollow the class teacher and SENCO's direction in supporting the child both inside and outside the classroom\nFollow plans for activities and intervention sessions provided by the class teacher\nSupport with learning\nEnsure the child feels supported and safe by having a warm and nurturing approachThe ideal candidate for the SEN Teaching Assistant role will have:\n\nHave experience working with children with SEND\nIdeally you would have experience working with children with Hearing Impairments\nThe ability to build rapport with the child and be able to respond to the child's individual needs\nFollow direction from the class teacher, SENCO, external agencies such as Speech and Language Therapist \n\nNext steps: \n\nIf this SEN Teaching Assistant position sounds of interest, or you would like to find out more information, please contact Mary at Teach Plus\nAlternatively, please click 'apply' and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
