We are seeking an experienced XYZ Lathe Turner/Miller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong machining skills and a solid understanding of XYZ lathes and milling machines. This role offers competitive pay, with overtime opportunities available without restrictions.
* Salary-: £15.00ph - £19.00 ph (based on experience)
* Hours of Work-: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 16:30pm
* Overtime-: Unlimited overtime available
* Location-: Birmingham
This is an ongoing position leading to a full time role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate XYZ lathe and milling machines to produce precision components
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
* Set up machines and conduct regular checks to maintain high-quality production standards
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of products
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in operating XYZ lathes and milling machines
* Strong understanding of machining techniques and quality control
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Previous experience with setting up and programming CNC machines is advantageous but not essential
