About the Griffin Programme
Schroders & Phoenix have agreed to form a joint venture to establish a new investment management business managing certain private assets investment solutions focused on the UK. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering key workstreams within this programme.
What you'll do
1. Lead end-to-end project management for key workstreams, including Operational Model implementation and Governance.
2. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including investment teams, compliance, risk management, and technology.
4. Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.
5. Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
6. Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
7. Analyze current-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements.
8. Develop future-state target operating models.
9. Prepare detailed business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
10. Collaborate with technology teams to align systems with governance goals.
11. Design and implement governance frameworks tailored to private assets.
12. Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams.
13. Monitor adherence to governance structures and recommend improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement
1. Act as a liaison between business units, senior leadership, and external partners.
2. Communicate project progress and updates through regular reporting.
3. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for stakeholder buy-in.
Performance Metrics and Reporting
1. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track project progress.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst in private assets or financial services.
3. Strong understanding of private assets and their operational requirements.
4. Experience in governance framework development and target operating model design.
5. Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
8. Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CBAP are a plus.
