An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Post-Acute Medical Physiotherapy Team at Orpington Hospital for a Band 7 Team Lead Physiotherapist to cover one year maternity leave. Candidates should have wide experience in post-acute medicine and should have excellent communication, clinical reasoning and problem solving skills. The successful candidate will share joint responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Post-Acute Medical Physiotherapy team on the health and ageing unit (HAU) at Orpington Hospital covering general and adult medicine, frailty with support from the Clinical lead Physiotherapist. They will also have a clinical caseload, teaching and supervision responsibilities, day to day operational management of the team, and quality improvement projects and clinical governance responsibilities in conjunction with the Clinical lead Physiotherapist.
