Blue Lion Training Academy deliver a variety of apprenticeships & commercial training courses to individuals on a national basis specialising in Continuous Improvement including Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Audio & Creative/Marketing. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data & Compliance Manager to join the team to support learners through their learning journeys through apprenticeships and our commercial training offer.
The Data & Compliance Manager is a critical role to support with the organisation’s ambitious plans for growth whilst delivering an “outstanding” service to our learners & employers. Ideally, you will have experience of working within the Further Education sector and have knowledge of the OFSTED & ESFA Funding rules & Guidelines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the tutoring team with curriculum updates via our e-learning platform, bud. They will identify & report on Data Trends & also complete audit & Compliance checks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensuring Quality & Compliance checks are completed in a timely manner. Facilitate the onboarding process for apprentices, ensuring a smooth transition & completion of all necessary documentation on our e-learning system, bud
• Utilise ongoing identification and monitoring systems providing interventions for students who are not making appropriate progress towards their targets.
• Analyse & provide feedback from Learner, Employer & tutor Survey data.
• Maintain accurate and timely records on our e-portfolio system bud.
• Ensure quarterly tripartite progress reviews with learners/Managers are scheduled in advance by tutors and completed in timely manner ensuring they are completed in full with signatures as required
• Manage the BLTA Quality calendar
• Support the Subject Matter Experts (SME’S) to organise and plan Standardisation meetings
• Monitor the Internal Quality Audit process
• Support the Subject Matter Experts (SME’S) to manage the Observation, Teaching Learing Assessments & Learning Walks in order to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
• Support ongoing curriculum build with updates to bud, ongoing reviews and feedback from learners
• Work with tutors & Subject Matter Experts (SME’S) to ensure bud programmes are continuously updated & improved
• Manage BLQMS Policies to ensure they are updated as required
• Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices
• Adhere to Company policies & procedures
• Undertake necessary training for professional development as required
Key Skills and Qualifications
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisational, administration and time management skills
• Ability to manage own workload
• Microsoft literate (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams & PowerPoint)
• Previous experience in managing apprenticeship learning journey’s
• Knowledge of Ofsted regulatory framework and quality/compliance measures
• Familiar with ESFA funding guidelines & requirements
• GCSEs at grade A-C (grades 4-9) in English and maths or equivalent Level 2 qualification
• Flexible availability/schedule
• Good IT Skills Ability to inspire, influence and motivate, with an enthusiasm for learning
