Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Jones Bros Civil Engineering. As a key member of our landfill team, you will provide technical and administrative support to ensure the highest standards of health and safety across our UK landfill sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate health and safety risks
* Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures
* Provide coaching and mentoring to site staff on health and safety best practices
* Collaborate with the Senior Contracts Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a landfill or waste management environment
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
