Your newpanyHays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with an Ofsted rated "Good" primary school in Warrington as they require a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support the EYFS/KS1 Classes. This is a long-term role consisting of mornings with the EYFS class and afternoons across a split KS1 class. Your new roleIn your new role as a Teaching Assistant in this school, you will be supporting students with SEND across the EYFS and Key Stage 1 classes. Your mornings will consist of working in the EYFS class, supporting students with early onset SEND (undiagnosed) on a 1:1 and group basis with a focus on speech and language development. Your afternoons will include supporting the Key Stage classes with SEND support (ASD, ADHD) supporting students on a 1:1 basis delivering targeted interventions across all KS1 year groups. Due to the nature of the role, you will regularly liaise with class teachers, SENCO, and parents/guardians on pupils' progress. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you must have referenceable experience working with children and young people with SEND (special educational needs disabilities) in a voluntary or professional capacity, as well as:
1. Experience working with children with additional needs
2. The ability to effectively identify pupils triggers/shortfalls and manage accordingly
3. The ability to build strong constructive relationships
