What is the Role?
We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Commissioning Manager to join our team covering London and the South East of England. As a BMS Commissioning Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering key projects to our clients. In this role, your time will typically be split between the following activities:
Commissioning:
* Commission BEMS and Control systems per customer and project requirements, creating custom software strategies, graphics, conducting wiring checks, plant start-ups, and troubleshooting.
* Foster collaboration with stakeholders and customers to create a high-performance project culture, supporting validation processes and project handover.
Line Management Responsibilities:
* Allocating resources, planning, and monitoring team performance to meet project and departmental goals.
* Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety documentation, company procedures, and national operating standards.
* Identify skills gaps, manage training, and complete essential project handover documentation (e.g., RAMS, O&Ms).
What do I need?
* Extensive experience commissioning BEMS and Control systems, particularly Siemens PX and Trend IQ4, with knowledge of Siemens Desigo CC, Trend IQ Vision, and integration of M-Bus, Modbus, Bacnet protocols.
* Strong communication and report-writing skills, adept in Microsoft Office, with proven ability to build relationships and meet deadlines.
* Highly organized, capable of managing multiple contracts, direct reports, and customer relationships simultaneously.
* Skilled in problem-solving, people management, and motivating teams, with potential opportunities for commissioning engineers seeking advancement.
* Due to the nature of this role, it's essential you possess a full driving licence.
