Job Title: Mechanic
Location: Huddersfield, HD1 6PD
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic to join our team at John Shaw & Son Ltd, one of the largest independent garages in Huddersfield.
As a Mechanic with us, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, as well as maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine maintenance tasks on vehicles
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on vehicles
* Maintain accurate records of work completed
* Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and within a timely manner
Requirements:
* MOT Testing qualifications (desirable)
* Previous experience as a Mechanic (desirable)
* Fully trained in vehicle repair and maintenance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills
Working Hours:
* Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:15pm (Saturdays by arrangement)
