What you will do
Johnson Controls Industrial Refrigeration (IREF) division delivers project solutions, maintenance & service solutions supporting manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing. We are OEM for SABROE, Frick Compressors & York products, with trained engineers across the country providing project, planned, preventative, and reactive works for markets including meat, poultry, food manufacturing, beverage, cold storage, general manufacturing, leisure, pharmaceutical, and automotive.
Responsibilities include:
* Start-up and commissioning of Industrial Refrigeration systems, ensuring they meet regulatory and safety standards.
* Collaborating with project managers to ensure commissioning aligns with project plans and budgets.
* Commissioning plant & equipment, pipework, refrigeration charges, and controls.

How you will do it
* Serve as the primary contact for site technical service and commissioning activities, supporting design teams with final design, scope, and specifications.
* Understand design, scope of works, and installation requirements for Industrial Refrigeration.
* Communicate with clients, attend onsite reviews, and coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
* Support project managers with design and installation guidance.
* Be flexible to travel across the UK & Ireland as required.
What we look for
* Experience in maintenance and commissioning of industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems using HFC, CO2, and Ammonia refrigerants.
* Strong understanding of system types, such as pumped overfed, two-stage, and cascade systems.
* Ability to interpret electrical controls and drawings.
* Knowledge of CDM regulations.
* Effective team player with analytical skills and requirement definition capabilities.
* Flexibility to travel nationally.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical details to non-technical audiences.
* Ability to work independently without documented procedures.
* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
