Job summary The post holder will be administratively responsible to the Senior Dental Nurse and ultimately accountable to the Clinical Director for North Wales Community Dental Service. The Dental Nurse will be clinically responsible to the Clinician to whom he/she is assigned. The post holder will be required to travel within the North Wales Community Dental Service locality, for example clinics, hospitals, schools, domiciliary visits, mobile dental units and to carry out treatment at other sites, for example, nursing homes. Travel expenses will be paid. Main duties of the job Are you a Qualified Dental Nurse who enjoys variety and is looking for a fresh challenge? We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Dental nurse to join our dental team who can relate to all age groups and who can assist the clinicians with a full range of dental procedures. Experience of patients with special care is desirable. As a Qualified Dental Nurse you will be based at The Royal Alexandra Hospital, The successful candidate must be willing to provide dental nursing support in satellite clinics, mobile units, hospital venues and on a domiciliary basis. The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is essential.You must be registered with the General Dental Council.
