Remuneration and benefits Excellent salary package £40K- £45k Per Anum dependent on experience, you will also be entitled to fantastic Holidays - 25 days 9 Bank Holidays, Company DC pension scheme with maximum 11% company contribution, Discounted Healthcare – Self-paid with BUPA, Company full sick pay (subject to length of service), Onsite Company Gym, Free parking plus many more Hours 36 hours per week. 8am-3:40pm Mon - Fri Your duties and responsibilities will be Perform planned maintenance and inspection activities according to defined procedures. Carry out reactive fault rectification of electrical issues, ensuring that root causes are addressed. Perform self and third-party electrical isolations following site standard procedures. Collaborate directly with engineers and supervisors regarding production issues and identify potential improvements. Conduct hazardous area inspections, remedial repairs, maintenance, and installation to ATEX standards. Work flexibly as part of teams of various trades (internal staff or contractors) during planned tasks or turnaround events. Carry out testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment installed under project work.You will have the following qualifications and experience Time-served Electrical apprenticeship, preferably indentured (NVQ Level 3 / C&G / ONC). COMPEX Trained (preferred but not essential). Strong SHE standards and good diagnostic/problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics. Relevant level of Electrical experience. Experience working in a high-hazard COMAH chemical plant is preferred, but not essential. Highly motivated, self-managing individual with a high degree of independence.
