Female PE Teacher Location: Chepstow Working Hours: 8.30am- 3pm Start Date: April 21 st, 2025 Pay Rate: From £166.32 - £220 depending on experience. Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to inspire and motivate students to lead active, healthy lifestyles. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and support students in developing essential physical and social skills. The school is located on the English side of the border in the lovely quaint town of Chepstow. And has excellent transport links from both England and Wales via the M4, Severn and Prince of Wales Bridges. Moving forward there is an opportunity for the right Teacher to be taken on to school contract. Experience within this type of environment would be helpful however, if you are confident you would be a good fit for the school, we would love to hear from you Responsibilities: Have the ability to teach up to KS4. Plan, deliver, and assess dynamic PE lessons that cater to diverse student abilities and interests. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect through a variety of physical activities and sports. Design and implement a curriculum aligned with national and school standards. Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities, events, and competitions. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success. Roles Take PE lessons with both girls and boys. Take a lead on lunch time and after school activities including sport fixtures. Be a positive role model to the pupils encouraging Leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Bring a positive attitude towards fitness and show how having a healthy lifestyle can be enjoyable. Find ways to keep pupils engaged and keep lessons fun. Requirements Previous experience working in sports department. Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) including Update Service. Qualified teacher status. NQT’s will also be accepted. 2 most recent references. Proof of right to work in the UK. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
