What is the role?
The Stop Smoking Lead Worker will be part of the All Age Recovery Service (AARCS) Team. Working with clients, promote referrals to local stop smoking services and develop and implement pathways to support individuals to quit smoking. To work with other Stop Smoking Lead Workers and work collaboratively as a virtual team to encourage individuals to stop smoking. You will be delivering stop smoking cessation interventions and supporting the training of the workforce to be knowledgeable in smoking cessation.
What you need
– Excellent communication, time management and administrative skills.
– A willingness to learn and work with a variety of people.
– Have a clear understanding of, and a commitment to safeguarding best practice.
– A commitment to multi-agency working, and be able to work in partnership with other agencies within the treatment system to achieve good outcomes for clients.
