A Primary School, located in Oldham, is seeking an experienced and dynamic\nteacher to join our school community temporarily from January to Easter 2024.\nThis is a unique opportunity for a professional to gain valuable experience in\na supportive environment, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent\nrole following the initial contract.\n\nRole Overview: This role is split between two key responsibilities:\n\n * 50% SENCO: Oversee and manage the Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision within the school, ensuring that all children with additional learning needs are supported effectively.\n * 50% EYFS Teaching Cover: Provide high-quality teaching and support for the Early Years Foundation Stage. (Alternatively, if preferred, this can be adjusted to 50% KS2 teaching cover.)\n\nWe are also open to discussing a future permanent role, with potential\nopportunities for career progression into senior leadership, including the\nchance to develop into a Deputy Headteacher.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Lead the SEN provision in the school, working closely with class teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide tailored support for SEN children.\n * Deliver engaging and effective EYFS or KS2 lessons, in line with the school curriculum, to ensure all children thrive and achieve their potential.\n * Monitor and track student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.\n * Provide guidance and support for colleagues regarding SEN and best teaching practices.\n * Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.\n\nThe Ideal Candidate:\n\n * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in EYFS or KS2.\n * Experience as a SENCO, or a strong desire to develop in this role.\n * Passionate about inclusive education and working with children with additional needs.\n * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies.\n * Enthusiastic and adaptable, committed to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.\n * Willingness to grow professionally and take on leadership opportunities within the school.\n\nHow to Apply: Please send your CV to Deryn.Fitzpatrick@Randstad.co.uk or call\nthe team on 0161 200 1906.\n\nWe look forward to hearing from you!\n\nPandoLogic.
