Who we are looking for: We are seeking a skilled Resistance Welding Technician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining resistance welding machines to produce high-quality welds on a variety of materials. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards. What youll do: Set up, adjust, and operate resistance welding equipment Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine welding requirements. Inspect welded joints for conformance to specifications using visual and mechanical inspection techniques. Monitor the welding process to ensure consistent quality and make necessary adjustments to machines. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize welding processes. Maintain detailed records of machine settings, maintenance logs, and production output. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment. What you bring: Proven experience with resistance welding techniques, especially in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair welding equipment. Familiarity with various welding standards and inspection techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, heat, and metal particulates.
