Vehicle Damage Assessor for Leading Accident and Collision Repair Specialist
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, the UK's leading Accident and Collision Repair specialist, for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their busy workshop in Nottingham. Key Responsibilities:
: Assess damaged vehicles to determine the full extent of damage, repair costs, and estimated repair timeframes.
: Prepare detailed estimates using both electronic and manual methods, adhering to Thatcham Repair Methods and BSi safety standards.
: Liaise with insurance companies to gain approval for repairs based on your accurate cost and time estimates.
: Communicate with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure clarity regarding the repair methodology and process.
: Stay updated on repair techniques, insurer bulletins, and manufacturer guidelines to maintain an expert level of knowledge.
: Work closely with colleagues across various departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle repairs.
What Our Client is Looking For:
: NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, or ATA/IMI qualifications in vehicle damage assessment (or a similar qualification).
: Proven experience in a bodyshop environment with a strong background in damage assessment and estimating.
: A full UK driving license is essential.
: A thorough understanding of Thatcham Repair Methods and BSi safety standards.
: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, customers, and insurance providers.
: Up:to:date knowledge of repair methodologies, insurance requirements, and manufacturer bulletins.
