We are excited to be offering an industrial placement for an undergraduate to join our commercial finance team for 12 months at our UK flagship office in Leyland.
In this role, you’ll support the finance team and wider business by ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis is available to contribute to informed business decision-making. Working closely with our Finance Business Partners, you’ll be responsible for updating key financial files, tracking agent incentives, analysing spend, and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you’ll primarily work with Excel and spreadsheets, with additional interaction with Power BI and SEI/Sage to extract and analyse data. You’ll mostly be updating and reviewing pre-set reports, but there is scope for a proactive candidate to take on ad hoc analysis and contribute valuable insights to the business.
You’ll support trading meetings, gaining wider business knowledge and respond to business requests for data insights.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm.
Minimum Requirements:
* Working towards a relevant degree (Accounting, Economics, Business etc.) or an ACCA/CIMA qualification
* Strong Excel skills
* Analytical thinking
* Able to gather and analyse information

* Results focused & proven attention to detail
* Able to manage your own workload
