You will work along side experienced Renal staff to provide safe effective dialysis care for renal patients. The Main Renal Unit of Sunderland Hospital is looking to recruit a dynamic and forward thinking Dialysis Assistant. Renal experience is desirable but not essential for this role. The successful candidate will be fully trained in all aspects of the job over a 6 month period completing competency based assessments with full mentor support. Within this role the successful applicant will provide care and support to patients alongside the nurses, and deliver prescribed haemodialysis treatments. Other aspects of the job include: Housekeeping/Stock Control/Cleaning/Patient Flow and transport bookings. Shifts include 3 long days: 06.00-17.00 and, 1 early half day-06.30-12.30.
