The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be a vital part of our schools, ensuring that students continue to learn and progress in the absence of their regular teachers. Your responsibilities will include supervising classes, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students with their learning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the regular teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed.
- Liaise with teaching staff and school management to ensure effective cover arrangements.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
