Job summary This is an exciting time to join the Cardiology Department at Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Cardiology Investigations Unit offers a full range of Non-invasive Cardiology investigations, pacemaker implants, echocardiography and a catheter lab. The unit is undergoing expansion with the development of new services, along with the addition of more Consultant Cardiologists. The Department currently supports 9 Cardiologists across the 2 sites. We are seeking a Cardiographer to join our busy team. The post will be based with working cross-site as required. Main duties of the job Cardiographers are vital to the work of the Cardiology Investigations Department, working alongside Cardiac Physiologists, performing ECG's (recording of the heart rhythm), fitting 24hr heart rhythm and blood pressure monitors and 7 day monitors on outpatients and on the wards, and assisting with exercise tests. Cardiographers also provide administrative support to our admin team. Experience of working with computers is an advantage.
