Job Role
Participating in the Graduate Engineering Development Programme will offer structured and systematic training and development. This program aims to help graduates build on their strong academic foundation, acquire the skills and experience of an engineering professional, and gain expertise in all company product lines.
Job duties
Participating in the Graduate Engineering Development program will involve rotating through various company departments, with responsibilities that include:
* Assisting in the preparation of detailed quotations for project-related inquiries, including compiling relevant engineering, manufacturing, and assembly/testing costs.
* Coordinating all technical documentation required for bid submissions, such as drawings and operational procedures.
* Arranging Project Kick-Off meetings upon contract award.
* Creating and managing project plans, budgets, and contract milestones.
* Assisting with field surveys as needed.
* Coordinating all technical documentation for the project, including engineering drawings, test procedures, operational procedures, and risk assessments.
* Attending client meetings and HAZOP sessions as required.
* Ensuring timely receipt of drawings and associated documents from Engineering to meet project delivery schedules.
* Participating in design and operational reviews related to project deliverables.
* Raising Purchase Requisitions for all manufacturing and assembly components required for the project.
* Issuing Manufacturing Request Forms for all project components.
* Ensuring timely issuance of drawings to the manufacturing department to align with the Project Schedule.
* Writing necessary ‘in-house’ testing procedures for each project undertaken.
* Raising Assembly and Test Request Forms and issuing Assembly/Test Work packs to the workshop.
* Coordinating client or third-party test inspections to witness testing activities.
* Writing Operational Procedures for the offshore scope of supply.
* Compiling mobilisation lists and advising Operations on deployment requirements for offshore personnel.
* Assisting with field deployment as needed.
* Compiling Manufacturing Record Books when required.
* Coordinating Revenue Reports upon project completion.
Candidate Requirements
* BSc / BEng (Hons) and / or MSc in Mechanically biased subjects.
Remuneration
On offer is a salary of £25-30K with additional benefits.
