My client is a prestigious engineering company with almost 35 years' experience, manufacturing products for national and international infrastructure projects.

Due to continued growth, they now require an Estimator & CAD Draughtsperson for their operation close to Peterborough.

Day-to-day:

1. Analyse customer requirements to prepare accurate estimate bids, ensuring timely submission of documents and budgets.
2. Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing technicians.
3. Calculate costs and apply knowledge of materials and engineering principles to check the feasibility of manufacture and construction.
4. Liaise with customers, external suppliers, subcontractors, and design teams, to ensure accuracy of information and quotations.
5. Estimate fabrication times, working with the production team to ensure appropriate methodologies and efficiencies.
6. Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans, modify existing drawings, and ensure compliance with industry and health and safety standards.
7. Use TurboCAD software to create 2D and 3D models, ensuring value engineering in product design. Those with AutoCAD
