REPORTING STRUCTURE REPORTS TO: Drain Doctor Managing Director KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Business Development Managers Franchisees Prospects PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Franchise Sales Manager is responsible for the entire franchise recruitment process, from marketing through portals, e-shots, and pro-active lead generation. You will identify suitable prospects and take them through the franchise recruitment discovery process, from the initial qualification call through to them joining the network. This role ensures prospects are fully armed with all the information they need to enable them to make the decision to purchase the franchise, whilst ensuring all candidates meet the brand criteria and values. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sell new franchise territories and franchise resales across the UK. Build strong relationships with media partners. Closely monitor enquiries to develop efficient recruitment marketing campaigns. Contact all sales leads with enthusiasm and knowledge. Provide prospective franchisees with brand information. Deliver inspiring PowerPoint presentations to prospects. Take the candidates through the sales process using the available tools. Present the Franchise Model with passion and knowledge. Full understanding of the Franchise Agreement. Have an in-depth understanding of the business plan and the financial model. Attend franchise shows, events and conferences. Determine the franchisee territory and build using mapping tools. Be available to answer prospects questions via phone, email, webinars, and face-to-face meetings. Be able to travel to meet with prospects nationwide when necessary Contribute to sales team meetings and brand meetings which drive improvement. Develop strong and positive working relationships with all colleagues and departments. Deliver Neighbourly’s Code of Values. Any other reasonable duty that falls within your capabilities. The Franchise Recruitment Manager contributes to the business in the following ways: Achieve new lead number targets. Achieve new sale and resale targets. Contact all leads to qualify and discuss the Drain Doctor and Greensleeves opportunities. Presenting the Drain Doctor and Greensleeves models assisted by PowerPoint presentation at Head Office and via webinars if needed. Attend conferences, franchise shows and events. Travel to qualified candidates when appropriate. Ensure candidates are financially suitable and assist with funding applications, working closely with banks and other lenders. Capture phone calls/notes on the CRM system. Build territories for prospects to ensure fair opportunity across the UK. Take prompt and corrective action to reactive telephone calls, emails, and meetings. Support new franchisees to understand the business plan and cashflow templates to create success. Review and analyse performance data and financial data to ensure thorough knowledge of the network. Credit check candidates and organise the legal paperwork and franchise agreements. Answer questions from candidates relating to the Franchise Agreement. Work with marketing to write press releases, case studies and e-shots to place on our database and relevant platforms. Enter relevant awards and completing all written or verbal submissions. Proactively generate sales leads personally using social media and personal networking. Attend all team meetings at National Training Centre as required. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE: Experience in recruiting business owners and/or senior positions within a business. A background in recruitment/sales an advantage. SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of self-employment an advantage. Franchise knowledge an advantage but not essential Strong communication skills. IT literate (Microsoft Office). BEHAVIOURS Motivated with a can-do attitude. Highly organised and able to work to deadlines. Works well within a team, but also able to work independently.
