The Astley Cooper School is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Deputy Headteacher to lead on Behaviour and Culture, ensuring that our students thrive in a safe, respectful, and ambitious learning environment.

The Role
As Deputy Headteacher - Behaviour and Culture, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the ethos and culture of the school. You will lead on strategies to promote positive behaviour, high attendance, and student engagement, working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to uphold a culture of respect and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive the development and implementation of the school’s behaviour policy, promoting a positive and motivating environment where students are engaged and motivated to achieve their best.
* You will also be responsible for developing and delivering staff training on behaviour management, school culture and raising attendance, ensuring consistency and excellence across the school.
* Lead and support staff in ensuring high standards of behaviour and attitudes across the school.
* Build strong relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to promote positive behaviour and attitudes.
* Monitor and analyse behaviour data to drive improvements and targeted interventions.
* Contribute to the wider leadership and management of the school, supporting the Headteacher in driving whole-school improvement.
