Your innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial spirit will be utilized to the fullest in a fast-paced environment where we can go from idea to implementation in days. You will work in a team that is the #1 commercial priority for UK, Sector, and Global teams, specifically focused on accelerating Independents through our RTM partnerships.
The position will have a team of 3-4 direct reports and a total team of 14.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the Foodservice Independents AOP through elevated wholesale partnerships.
* Indirectly oversee the delivery of our field teams and broader foodservice customers in the TT channel.
* Ensure in-store execution standards of distribution, display, and promotion as defined in the UK annual marketing calendar and operating plan across the channel.
* Develop and strengthen key customer relationships at a senior level across all customers in the channel.
* Set and consistently communicate a clear vision and objectives to a diverse sales team to motivate and inspire their performance.
* Develop your team through coaching, feedback, and formal training to ensure performance in role and readiness for movement into other roles.
* Be a key member of the AFH Sales Leadership team, tasked with developing and delivering the AFH Independents 3-year strategy and in-year AOP.
Qualifications
* Broad multi-channel sales experience: Preferably with UK Foodservice Trade and in FMCG.
* Leadership and people development: Proven skills with a substantial team of diverse individuals.
* Strategic thinker: Ability to reimagine and transform a GTM strategy across Digital, A&M, Supply, etc.
* Results orientation: Achieving and exceeding targets is essential for the role’s success.
* Influencing Skills: Ability to influence both internal and external agendas at a senior level.
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage both the operational and strategic agenda.
