P.E Instructor Location: Sheldon, Birmingham Hours: Full-time Salary: £140 - £200 per day (or Paid to Scale) Temporary - permanent, long-term Monarch Education are working closely with an Alternative Provision school in the Sheldon area of Birmingham who are seeking a passionate and innovative P.E. Instructor who is enthusiastic about promoting physical education and well-being among their students. You will play a crucial role in designing and delivering engaging physical activity programs that not only enhance fitness levels but also develop teamwork, resilience, and self-esteem. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality P.E. lessons that are accessible and enjoyable for all students, catering to various skill levels and interests. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and helps pupils build confidence. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their personal best. Engage with parents and guardians to promote the importance of physical education and encourage student participation in extracurricular activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during P.E. lessons and activities. Requirements: Qualified P.E. Instructor, Sports Coach or other relevant qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Experience working with secondary age students, preferably in an alternative provision or special educational needs context. Strong understanding of the physical, social, and emotional needs of young people, particularly those facing challenges in traditional educational environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Passionate about physical education and committed to promoting healthy lifestyles.
