Responsibilities
At Parker Meggitt, we’re looking for a skilled Customer Account Representative who thrives when working in a challenging and fast-paced environment. You will support the management of a variety of Parker Meggitt customer accounts to deliver world-class service and support by contributing towards customer score cards, immediately responding to enquiries, collaborating internally to prepare and deliver quotations, and joining with the planning team to accurately forecast demand.
By utilising the Parker Meggitt High Performance System, you’ll serve as the primary interface for a variety of our customers, responsible for ensuring the most efficient and positive relationships, while enabling level-loading of production and expeditious resolution of customer assertions. In this role you’ll also work closely with key internal stakeholders and have a solid internal network relevant to the customers you support.
Your responsibilities
* Account Management Support: Collaborate with the Senior Customer Service Supervisor to manage various customer accounts, including order books, customer portals, and participation in meetings as needed.
* Costing and Quoting: Assist in preparing costing sheets and producing accurate quotes for customer orders, ensuring internal sign-off for miscellaneous repairs or significant spare parts orders.
* Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring timely resolution of all customer orders and inquiries.
* Forecasting and Order Processing: Support the Senior Customer Service Supervisor in producing monthly and annual forecasts based on sales trends, and assist in receiving, reviewing, and entering purchase orders into the ERP system.
* Contract and OEM Liaison: Oversee the contract review process in collaboration with Commercial colleagues and liaise with OEMs for specific product groups to ensure customer requirements are met.

* Extensive experience of working within a rapid customer service environment where quick thinking, pro-activeness and a problem-solving mindset are essential
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and present to key stakeholders
* Excellent customer service orientation
* Well-organised and ability to follow procedures
Ideally, you will also have
* Experience from an Aerospace or manufacturing environment
