Project Summary: Project Sapphire is a long-running project to migrate the administration of many of our Heritage policies onto the TCS BaNCS system. Moving from old mainframe based systems onto a modern platform will improve the experience of our customers, advisers and colleagues Key responsibilities: Working within a project team to support all Actuarial elements of policy administration system migration Involvement in testing and reviewing evidence for all calculation elements of policy lifecycle including illustration documents, servicing calculations, annual benefit statements and claims processing The role requires ability to understand Actuarial calculations based documents and respond to complex technical queries. The individual needs to be able to review detailed calculations and translate to a diverse range of individuals, e.g., IT, project managers, actuaries Strong team player, with ability to work in a team or on a project single handed Ability to work under pressure: dynamic, shows resolve and can adapt to evolving situations. Good level of interpersonal and networking skills, to develop effective working relationships with team colleagues and internal/external business contacts. Strong communication skills - written and verbal Good planning and problem solving skills Some experience and knowledge of Actuarial modelling tools like SQL/ Excel VBA/ Python.
