Competitive salary and benefits package Meaningful work: Support families through challenging times Professional growth: Training provided and opportunity to develop in a respected profession Supportive team: Work in a compassionate environment with a focus on excellence Key Responsibilities: Funeral Arrangements: Meet with families, executors, and representatives to organise and advise on funeral services, ensuring all wishes are respected Process Management: Coordinate all aspects of the funeral process, including the registration of death, logistics, and overseeing the funeral service itself Liaison with Professionals: Work with doctors, clergy, crematorium and cemetery authorities, and other relevant parties to facilitate seamless arrangements Team Supervision: Manage team members during funerals, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and with respect Administration: Maintain accurate records, input funeral details into the administration system, and issue invoices as required Follow-up Tasks: Handle post-funeral duties such as the disposal of cremation ashes and memorial sales On-Call Support: Participate in the 1:6 out-of-hours telephone and removal rota, providing support to families and care facilities Skills and experience: Experience: Previous experience in an office environment or managing people in an emotionally sensitive context.
