Social Value Coordinator - Leading Commercial Contractor Bristol & Surrounding areas
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Social Value Coordinator to join a leading nationwide contractor. Our client is one of the country's top privately owned contractors and is currently looking for a Social Value Coordinator to cover projects across the Southwest.
Main Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
* Working closely alongside the pre-construction team when putting together bids.
* Manage and maintain relationships with the local community, companies, educational facilities, and sites.
* Being a representative figure for the business across the community.
* Assist with recruitment and develop schemes encouraging the younger generation to consider construction as a career pathway.
* Manage relevant marketing materials, producing content for social media, website, and newsletters, developing and managing communications for the projects, also liaising with the site teams to gain progress reports from site.
* Lead CSR activities, events, and initiatives.
* Keeping up to date with local and surrounding news.
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant in the role of Social Value Coordinator will be instrumental in the future development of the environmental and economic aspects of the company and the business culture to achieve the benefits available through their continuous improvement strategies. You will have experience within a similar role or preferably previous experience within the construction industry.
Qualifications/Requirements/Capabilities:
* Previous experience within a corporate responsibility, social value-based role, or communications-based role.
* Previous exposure to the construction industry.
* Bachelor's Degree.
* Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
* Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages.
