Main duties of the job Including aims of the role are to ensure that: Directorates are well managed and well governed, in all facets, to a uniformly high standard and achieve objectives and outcomes agreed with the Directorates, set within a longer strategic framework. Necessary capability, resources and capacity are identified, made available to achieve the objectives and are utilised as intended. Services delivered by the Directorates are responsive, meet qualitative and quantitative standards, and services received by the Directorates are contributing positively to those standards. Shared leadership responsibility with the Clinical Directors and Nurse Director to ensure that staff can fully contribute to achieving objectives and outcomes whilst fulfilling their own potential. Activities of the Directorates are fully integrated into the whole system operation of the Trust including the leadership of programmes of work that go beyond the boundaries of the Directorates.
