Job summary The Cheshire and Merseyside Diagnostics Programme which is hosted by the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre incorporates all diagnostic tests which are delivered to our population. The programme is one of the transformation workstreams of the Cheshire and Merseyside Acute and Specialist Trust Collaborative. Our aim is to ensure that patients receive their diagnostics test at the earliest possible time and via a safe, efficient and high quality system. The Radiology Imaging Network Lead will provide senior leadership, use extensive programme management skills and be responsible for the development and implementation of key transformation projects/programmes to support delivery of objectives and priorities identified within C&M Diagnostics Strategy. The Radiology Imaging Network is a mature network with a wide range of programmes and projects, an experienced team of programme and project managers and an important element of the Cheshire and Merseyside Diagnostic Programme. The Senior Programme Manager will oversee transformation projects/programmes across organisations in all sectors within Cheshire and Merseyside. The post holder will lead a team of project and specialist staff and line manage project managers within the team, delivering transformation projects funded by the Cancer Alliance, NHSEI, Health Education England and the ICS. The post holder will lead a team of project and specialist staff and line manage project managers within the team, delivering transformation projects funded by the Cancer Alliance, NHSEI, Health Education England and the ICS. This role is based in the Cheshire and Merseyside Radiology Imaging Network although also includes some working across all of the networks that are incorporated within the Cheshire and Merseyside Diagnostic Programme. The role is hybrid with a mix on onsite and home working The postholder will manage their own portfolio of projects, provide oversight, leadership and management to the staff within their team and be a senior member of both the Network and The Diagnostic Programme.
