As a Supported Housing Officer, you'll work closely with individuals in need, helping them to access stable housing, navigate challenges, and rebuild their lives. This role is all about offering support, guidance, and practical help to ex-offenders and those at risk of homelessness. Your Key Responsibilities: Referral Pro: Build strong relationships with local agencies, prisons, and support services to ensure those in need are connected to the Service. People-Centric: Assess service users' needs and risks, and provide at least two face-to-face support sessions weekly. Life Skills Coach: Help service users develop essential skills to secure and maintain independent housing. Support Guru: Create user-focused support plans covering housing, health, finances, education, relationships, and more. Housing Helper: Guide users to tenancy readiness, find suitable landlords, and explore alternative accommodation options. On-the-Go: Be flexible, working in the office, community, or even at service users' homes. What Makes This Role Special?
