Excellent opportunity to join a charitable organisation with a substantial land and property portfolio across Essex as the Capital Development Project Manager. You will be joining an established, multi-disciplinary property team with high tenure and genuine passion for their work. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly for a charity whilst working on varied and interesting capital projects, including historic and listed buildings.
Your new role
As the Capital Development Project Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Property with the objective to increase revenue from existing land and buildings through regeneration and development of the Estate. You will be working on a broad portfolio of properties includingmercial spaces alongside residential properties. This may include change of use projects alongside extensions and refurbishments. You will be responsible for the full life-cycle of the projects from initial feasibility and planning through to delivery. As part of the role you will also manage external consultants in order to deliver the projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you should be experienced managing a variety of capital projects and have ideally previously worked client-side or for a consultancy. Experience in managing both residential andmercial projects will be an advantage and experience working with listed buildings is beneficial. A professional qualification is preferred (RICS, RIBA), though not essential. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for the role.
