A well-established company specializing in public space enhancements and infrastructure projects is looking for an experienced Installation Operative to join their growing team. This role involves working across Greater London, carrying out groundworks, excavations, installations, and reinstatement work to improve urban environments. What You’ll Be Doing: Installing and maintaining public infrastructure, including urban fixtures and signage. Carrying out excavation, groundwork, and footpath reinstatement. Using hand tools, machinery, and specialist equipment to complete installations safely. Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Conducting basic vehicle checks and maintenance. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months). Experience in groundworks, excavation, or infrastructure projects. New Road and Street Works Act (NRSWA) certification. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team. The ability to read technical drawings and follow structured work plans (preferred).
