Job Description:
Infrastructure Scrum Master is required for a leading insurer from the London Market to join on a permanent basis.
The organisation is a leading London Market insurer & Lloyds Syndicate with offices globally. Over the last three years, they have undergone a transformative restructure across divisional teams in London which has led to significant growth in headcount, particularly within technology.
The hire is part of a long-term strategy to bring their global infrastructure team back in-house to support an Enterprise Environment with over 5,000 users based across 15+ countries.
The role will be working closely with infrastructure, engineering & delivery teams to support them with project tasks, organise agile ceremonies, supervise the progress of stories throughout the sprints & release schedules, and help with removing blockers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Recommend improvements & drive alignment across the organisation
* Manage risk mitigation & gather input from all team members to uncover potential issues
* Lead the teams through continuous process improvement & help by escalating issues & removing barriers
* Actively provide solutions & encourage others to adopt new ways of working to improve overall delivery
* Maintain the metrics dashboard ensuring all data is accurate
Requirements:
* Experience in Scrum Master/Agile Delivery role from insurance or financial services organisation on an enterprise level
* Previous experience working with technical teams such as platform & infrastructure engineers, network & IT operations
* Proven track record of working closely with delivery project teams, as well as release managers & product owners
* Certified Scrum Master, Project Management/Agile/Kanban certifications & qualifications will be a benefit
* Experience in both Agile & Waterfall methodologies, as well as project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence
* ITIL 4 Foundation is desirable
