Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Ward Manager to join our inpatient team within the Learning Disabilities and Autism care group. As part of the development of Water Meadow View, our new state-of-the-art 14-bed facility for people with learning disabilities and mental ill health, you will be a key member of the mobilisation project team and take the lead on specific work streams, recruitment, and operating procedure development. Once the hospital opens, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of high-quality inpatient care, reporting to the Modern Matron. One of the Trust's aims is to deliver the best possible care to our patients, and this new inpatient unit will do just that. Water Meadow View will offer clinical excellence, support, and safety, with patient-centred care at its heart. Working with the Modern Matron, the post holder will lead and be responsible for the delivery of high-quality care and patient experience within the care group's inpatient settings through proactive clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary staff at all levels within their clinical area of responsibility. The post holder will ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, compassionate, person-centred care and ensure that care delivered is in a safe and clean environment. This is an exciting post that allows for close working and collaboration with senior management and clinicians and will be an integral part of the Nursing and Quality Team.
