The Role – Community Cleaner
Reporting to the Services Manager, you’ll provide a reliable, highly quality and effective cleaning service to the communal areas of North Wales Housing Offices, schemes and resident communal areas. You’ll play a key role across the organisation delivering value for money and customer satisfaction. This will involve:
Vacuuming of stairs, hallway, and landings
Wiping down of handrails and paintwork
Keep bin areas to be kept clean and swept clear.
Cleaning of Internal windows and door glass
Keeping clear all communal areas and free from any persistent problems i.e abandoned rubbish which should be escalated.
Monitoring stock levels and requesting cleaning materials as required
Liaise with the Supervisor/ Service Manager regularly to update them on all matters relating to the appearance of the schemes within your geographical area.
Escalate issues or concerns that customers are experiencing as quickly and as efficiently as possible
Our Requirements – Community Cleaner
Awareness of Health and Safety Procedures including Fire Safety, incident /accident/near miss reporting
Awareness of legislation in regard to COSSH. Legionella Control
Awareness of professional boundaries
Awareness of the support needs of vulnerable people
Awareness of Safeguarding.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic IT skills, including MS office packages.
Driving Licence and vehicle required for work purposes
