Role: Operations Director Location: North London Salary: Up to £80k, depending on experience Hours/Day: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm Type: Permanent Due to some exciting changes within their company, our client, is seeking an Operarions Director to join their team. Based in North London, our client provides period costumes into film,TV and theatre productions. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm, with a salary of up to £80k. Working closely with the company Founder, in your role as Operations Director, you’ll take charge of operational strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s tactical goals and delivers measurable results. Responsibilities: As a leadership figure, you will be responsible for maintaining the profile of the business Accountable for the strategic planning of the company moving forward Analysing existing processes and workflows to identify areas for optimisation Responsible for modernising internal processes to optimise efficiency Building on and maintaining existing relationships with external production companies, suppliers, costume designers, etc Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms Troubleshooting and resolving operational challenges, analysing errors and implementing preventative measures to improve efficiency. Ideal Ops Director: You will have experience in the same or similar role and have a passion for film/TV/ Theatre A keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and driving operational improvements Passion for creating and implementing structured processes to improve operational performance Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to influence and inspire cross-functional teams Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Strong commercial, operational and financial acumen. Experienced in setting and managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results You will ideally have experience in the bespoke garment making process, or similar and knowledge of the film/ TV industry
