The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing, supporting patient care and clinical decision-making. What will your responsibilities be : As a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic tests and procedures within the laboratory. Your duties will include analysing patient samples, interpreting test results, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be expected to adhere to quality control protocols, participate in the validation of new techniques, and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate results, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the laboratory services. Qualifications and Experiences: HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent Significant experience in a clinical laboratory setting Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) Strong understanding of quality control and assurance processes Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuous professional development Experience in andrology, specifically semen analysis Why work with Pulse?
