For example, you can work from 9 am to 3 pm, three days a week Only 1:4 Saturdays, which may involve sole charge. No out-of-hours work, Sundays, or bank holidays. About Us: We are a progressive general practice dedicated to providing outstanding patient care while ensuring our colleagues feel valued and supported. Led by Practice Owners, our friendly and experienced team consists of 6 vets, 10 RVNs, 6 SVNs, and a supportive group of receptionists. Our practice boasts a varied caseload and encourages clinical freedom, allowing you to deliver gold-standard care. With a team that includes Certificate holders in Medicine and Ophthalmology, plus a vet pursuing a Certificate in Dermatology, we’re eager to expand our services and enhance our capabilities. We are also proud holders of the ISFM and RAW silver awards and winners of the Graduate Practice of the Year award. Team Collaboration and Development: We hold fortnightly vet meetings to discuss cases, review protocols, and participate in lunch-and-learn CPD sessions. Dedicated admin time slots and on-the-day appointments help streamline our daily operations. Our motivated nursing team holds various post-VN qualifications, including those in Emergency & Critical Care, Infection Control, and Feline Friendly Nursing, with others currently studying for additional certifications. Location: Our two practices are situated in Sunderland, just a short distance from the beautiful beaches of the North East coastline. We enjoy excellent transport links, including metro stations, the A19, A1, the airport, and main train stations. About You: We’re looking for a confident surgeon, ideally with a surgical bias, though we welcome candidates interested in both consults and surgery.
