Aramark UK is looking to hire a dedicated Bar Manager to join our team at Chessington World of Adventures, Chessington. This is a brand new, exciting, permanent, and full-time opportunity reporting into our Head of Hotels on site. This is a hands on and operational role, the Bar Manager will lead from the front and can manage their time effectively to ensure all of their roles and responsibilities are met and any back of house & administrative tasks are completed. A passion for People, profitability and excellent customer service are key for this role What is in it for you: We are offering a salary of up to £26,692 Weekend and weekday work required Company Pension Discounted food Free parking My Staff Shop discounts Generous Annual Leave, increasing in line with service EAP in house mental health champion Merlin Magic Passes A day in the life of a Bar Manager: Train and develop your team Assist in the management of Labour costs and efficiencies Drive revenue and RPS (Revenue per sleeper) and strive to hit daily & weekly financial targets Maintain & drive high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the bars and cellars Manage daily and weekly checklists & cleaning schedules Deliver outstanding beverage & customer service and deal with guest complaints when required Ensure stock is managed, secured and rotated effectively Build a strong relationship with other departments and stakeholders Ensure seamless communication between the Bar and floor team Support in the leadership of the wider operation, completing Duty manager shifts when required Work on the bars alongside the team Deliver budgeted Monthly Gross Profit Support the Bar & Restaurant Manager in delivering targeted RPS Ensure the bars and cellars are always clean, tidy and organised in keeping with a culture of relentless standards Minimise wastage through good stock management and rotation Deliver a trained and capable team You will be set up for success if you have: A strong knowledge of the inner workings of a Bar operation Strong product knowledge of beers, spirits and wines The ability to motivate and inspire a team of people Time management and planning Be able to use outlook and Microsoft office effectively A strong understanding of food safety and health & safety Previous experience as a supervisor or manager within a busy bar operation Experience in managing stock & an understanding of GP Experienced in carrying out stocktakes Cellar management and line cleaning At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
